Born in Cividale del Friuli (Italy), graduated in Licterature at University and in Clarinet at Conservatory in Udine.

He debuted at age 21 as Malatesta in Don Pasquale by Donizetti then continued his musical training with Claudio Desderi at Scuola di Musica di Fiesole in Mozart repertoire and sang Don Giovanni in Madrid and Papageno for Aslico-Milan in Opera Domani Project.

In 1998 won the Eurobottega Competition in Così fan tutte and sung Guglielmo under Peter Maag. He also performed the same role in Piccolo Teatro Milano production by Giorgio Strehler, in Spain (Perelada and Santander), Japan (Tokyo) and Germany (Wiesbaden).

In 2000 won the competition "A.Belli" by Teatro Lirico Sperimentale di Spoleto and sang Uberto in La serva padrona, Morales and Dancaire in Carmen (staged by Denis Krief) and Gil in Sushanna's Secret. Further engagements took him to Macerata Opera (Satyricon by Maderna), Opera of Roma (Madame Butterfly), Ferrara, Modena and National Theatre of Prague (The death of Klinghoffer), Regio of Parma (Carmen), Pisa (Danilo in The merry widow), Accademia di Santa Cecilia Rome (Tristan und Isolde under Myung Whun Chung).

In 2002/03 he has graduated with merit by Raina Kabaivanska at Accademia Chigiana of Siena. 2004/2006 is member of the Academy of Arena di Verona and sang Mascherone in Il ricco d'un giorno by Salieri (staged by Gilbert Deflo), Danilo in The merry widow at Teatro Filarmonico. Debuted at La Fenice in Venice as Ottokar in Der Freischütz and he's invited also for La morte dell'aria by Petrassi.

In 2005 he won the Don Giovanni International Competition in Verona and performed Carmina Burana at Carl Orff Festival in Andechs (Germany), Lo sposo di tre e marito di nessuna by Cherubini at Martina Franca Festival (recorded by Dynamic) and Lieder eines fahrenden Gesellen by Mahler at Schleswig-Holstein Musik Festival. In 2006 he was again Guglielmo in Così fan Tutte for Piccolo Teatro Milano in Athens, Moscow and Saint Petersburg and main role in Don Giovanni at Tatar State Opera of Kazan (Russia) and in european tour.

In 2007 he sang the Italian version of La tragedie de Carmen for Operaoggi and the new operas Obra Maestra in Spoleto, conducted by Marco Angius and staged by Pippo Del Bono, and Il tempo sospeso del volo by Nicola Sani staged by Franco Ripa di Meana at REC Festival in Reggio Emilia.

Last engagements include Drasco in Marcella by Giordano under Bruno Bartoletti musical direction and debut in Spoleto as Dandini in La Cenerentola that will be in Japan Tour next June.
